This course will describe the state of various mammographic screening guidelines for women of average risk, review the evidence in peer-reviewed literature, propose uniform metrics for screening mammography, and identify solutions such as risk stratification tools. This course combines the Screening Mammography Debate held in Washington D.C. with 7 AJR articles to provide a comprehensive overview of the arguments currently being debated in screening mammography. The AJR articles that are part of this course are not available for credit anywhere else.
